【摘要】:1ThispartofISO8257establishesasystemofdesignationforpoly(methylmethacrylate)thermoplasticmaterialswhichmaybeusedasthebasisforspecifications.2ThetypesofPMMAplasticsaredifferentiatedfromeachotherbyaclassificationsystembasedonappropriatelevelsofthedesignatoryproperties:a)Vicatsofteningtemperature,b)meltflowrate,c)viscositynumber(optional),andinformationaboutintendedapplication,methodofpro-cessing,importantproperties,additivesandcolour.3Thisdesignationsystemisapplicabletoallpoly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA)homopolymersandcopolymersofmethylmethacrylate(MMA)containingatleast80%(m/m)ofMMAandnotmorethan20%(m/m)ofacrylicestersorothermonomers.Itappliestomaterialsreadyfornormaluseandtomaterialsunmodifiedandmodifiedbycolorants,additives,etc.ThispartofISO8257doesnotapplytoPMMAmodifiedwithelastomers.4Itisnotintendedtoimplythatmaterialshavingthesamedesignationgivenecessarilythesameperformance.ThispartofISO8257doesnotprovideengineeringdata,performancedataordataonprocessingconditionswhichmayberequiredtospecifyamaterialforaparticularend-useormethodofpro-cessing.Ifsuchadditionalpropertiesarerequired,theyshallbedeter-minedinaccordancewiththemethodsspecifiedinISO8257-2,ifsuitable.5Inordertospecifyathermoplasticmaterialforaparticularapplicationorreproducibleprocessing,additionalrequirementscanbecodedinDataBlock5(seeclause3).
