【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandarddescribesmethodsforevaluatingtheeffectivenessofchemicalconversiontreatmentsintendedtoincreasetheresistanceofwet-processedsilverimagestooxidation.Thetreatmentmaybeappliedaspartoftheoriginalprocessing,oritmaybeapost-processingtreatment.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotrecommendgeneralorspecifictreatmentsforsilverimages.Likewise,treatmenttemperature,timesandreplenishmentratesareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.FactorstobeconsideredinastabilizingtreatmentarediscussedininformativeannexB.Twotestmethodsaredescribed:the"dichromatebleachtest"andthe"hydrogenperoxideincubationtest"(see[7]inthebibliography).ThesignificanceofeachisdiscussedininformativeannexC.2ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletosilver-gelatinimagescoatedonsupportsofeitherplastic,paperorglass.
